Hi! My name is Buck Stowers. I
am senior citizen Christian who lives in Richmond, Va. and attends a local
Assembly Of GOD church. My purpose in
this writing is to introduce you to a Christian young lady who has responded to
the call of GOD on her heart to go into the foreign mission field.
My Christian friend’s name is Heather Tobey. She is one of four children of Gregg and
Vicky Tobey. She has been home schooled
from preschool through high school. She
is a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. and studying
for a Bachelors degree in Public
Relations and Mass Communications. She
has been on mission trips to the countries of Brazil, Guatemala, India, the
Philippines and Germany as well as local missions in Richmond.
She has become a member of the World Race. You can check out this organization online at
www.worldrace.org. Please, before you
race to judgment about another “Christian Group” trying to save the world,
please study their website thoroughly, paying particular attention to their “Statement
of Faith”. This organization has truly
responded to the “Great Commission,” found in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter
28, verses 18-20, where the Lord Jesus Christ directed those who have accepted
him as LORD and Savior to go into all the world and make disciples of all
nations. I personally responded to the
LORD’s call on my heart to go to the mission field in September/October, 1991
when I went on a two week trip to Tanzania, East Africa to help construct a
dormitory for the students at the bible college that they were attending. Since then, I have gone on three trips to Port-au-Prince
to help construct a health clinic, a school classroom, and a church. I understand Heather’s desire to go into
foreign missions. Once the LORD touches
your heart for a purpose to further his kingdom, it is impossible to say no. I know that I can assure you and so can
Heather that once you step out in faith, your life will never be same.

young Christian lady. I truly believe that
after you review Heather’s website, you will want to help her financially. The money for her trip has already been
committed, however the $3,000.00 that she needs is for plane fare to and from
Atlanta, GA., the departure point and the return point for the overseas trip
and for personal miscellaneous expenses during the eleven month trip.
